About The Position

The Customer Service Specialist I, is the first point of contact with customers and must represent the Company in a positive manner. They will assist with retail sales, product questions, order processing, product or service issues, and additional needs as they arise.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods
  • Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds

  • Clear and consistent communication with supervisors and peers
  • Entry-Level – 0-2 years customer service-related work, high-school diploma or GED required
  • Intermediate-Level - 3+ years direct customer service experience and an associate’s degree or higher preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for customers via phone and email
  • Process orders for fresh and frozen bread with accuracy and care
  • Communicate professionally with Brokers, Buyers, and our Sales Team
  • Proactively identify and resolve pricing, delivery, and quantity issues
  • Provide product brochures, spec sheets, and photos upon request
  • Support large-volume customers with top-tier service
  • Maintain accurate records of quality and service issues
  • Set up new customer accounts and manage data entry
  • Stay informed about our products and their applications across industries
