The primary function of the CS Inside Sales Specialist is to support Account Managers in their efforts to sell Knapp services to existing customers in their assigned markets.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree with minimum 2 years sales experience
  • Knowledge/proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management technology
  • Knowledge/proficiency of SAP
  • Ability to think creatively, plan, organize, set goals, and execute strategically
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong relationship building, interpersonal, and internal/external networking skills
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with hands-on approach
  • Authorized to work in U.S.
  • Passport or ability to obtain a passport
  • Domestic and international travel is required up to 5-10%
  • Physical requirements: sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm’s length, and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position, strict adherence to KNAPP’s drug-free workplace policy is required. All candidates will be subject to drug-screening in accordance with the policy and will be expected to remain drug-free during their employment. There will be no exception if recreational or medical use of marijuana is permitted in the location of employment and/or residence or if use of marijuana is only during “off-hours.”

Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers as required to sell Knapp services and/or solutions to existing customers
  • Work collaboratively with assigned Knapp resources (engineering, purchasing, service, KAG, KSI, DFT, etc.) to identify services that meet customer’s needs and budgets
  • Produce detailed proposals describing Knapp’s services
  • Produce cost estimates for management approval
  • Provide support to create and give effective, accurate, and technically correct customer presentations
  • Comply with the most current version of the Knapp Inc. CS Sales Process
