The Customer Service Representative-Resupply is responsible for learning and maintaining knowledge of the current patient database and billing system. This role requires professional phone etiquette, obtaining and entering patient demographic and health insurance information, and collecting co-pays when appropriate. The representative will verify and record insurance benefits, maintain knowledge of Medicare and insurance regulations, and effectively understand medical documentation. They will interact professionally with physicians, patients/family, and co-workers, schedule setups, and communicate clearly with management and superiors. The position also involves utilizing initiative, maintaining productivity, making sound judgments within their scope of practice, and safely operating computer equipment.
