The role requires effective understanding of medical documentation, professional interaction with physicians, patients, and co-workers, and scheduling set-ups as per policy. The representative must answer telephones politely, communicate clearly with management, and maintain good working relationships with colleagues. They are expected to utilize initiative, maintain productivity, make sound decisions within their scope, and safely operate computer equipment. Other duties may be assigned.
