About The Position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering exceptional customer support by handling inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues efficiently. This role serves as a vital link between customers and internal teams, ensuring a seamless experience while upholding Grote Industries’ commitment to excellence.

Requirements

  • A candidate should possess an associate’s degree or at least two years of pertinent work experience.
  • Essential skills include effective communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with JDE/Oracle systems is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to customer inquiries concerning product information, pricing, etc.
  • Enters customer orders online.
  • Schedules customer shipments.
  • Handles credits and debits on returned goods.
  • Reviews customers’ requirements.
  • Tracks customers’ shipments.
  • Coordinates efforts with manufacturing and shipping to meet customers required in-house date.
  • Communicates information received from customers to appropriate personnel.
