About The Position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers by understanding Copart practices and offering effective solutions. A primary function of this role involves obtaining the release of vehicles from various locations, including body shops and residences, and performing other necessary office support functions. As the initial point of contact for many customers, the CSR plays a crucial role in representing the company and facilitating a unique customer service experience by understanding client needs and providing support. The position may also expand to include chat and email customer support.

Requirements

  • One year of office support experience in a customer service role preferred
  • High School diploma
  • Excellent customer service skills and attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficient with office equipment
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving
  • Computer proficiency - MS Suite
  • Typing speed 45WPM
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers of Copart
  • Offer solutions that aid and facilitate a unique customer service experience through a thorough understanding of Copart practices
  • Obtain the release of vehicles that are located at body shops and/or other locations including residences
  • Perform other office support functions as needed
  • Understand client needs and offer solutions and support
  • Answer and place calls in a professional manner
  • Focus on call resolution and use company resources to gather information and offer solutions to meet customer needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
