Customer Service Representative
About The Position
OPEN TO CANDIDATES WHO COME FROM INDUSTRIAL RETAIL WHO HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF PARTS! Responsibilities Develop a working rapport with our national customer base. Work strategically with customers, peers, and management. Review customer requests and provide quotes to match requirements. Follow up via email and phone to determine if quotes have been won or lost. Receive and enter customer orders accurately. Coordinate shipping to meet customer expectations. Collaborate with Production Control, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and Accounting departments throughout the quoting and order processes. Review and resolve customer issues that may arise. Commit to daily learning and putting in 100% effort.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills with an emphasis on using Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent phone call etiquette.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with ERP systems is useful but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints is desired but not required.
- Possess some mechanical aptitude.
- Basic math knowledge with some geometrical functions.
- College, community college degree, or online classes (certificate) is a plus but not required.
- Enthusiasm, self-confidence, and a positive attitude.
- Dispatch experience preferred, but not required.
