About The Position

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial Store Customer
Service Representative position. The Industrial Store Customer Service
Representative is responsible for serving walk-in customers and phone-in
customers.Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks
• Good working knowledge of all industrial products and gases
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
• Answer telephone calls promptly
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use
• Sell welding and safety products and services to customer
• Process customer orders and accurately input customer order into the computer
• Research products needed for customer special applications
• Follow up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedy situation
• Frequently move industrial gas cylinders
• Keep sales literature current and organized
• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
