About The Position

The position of Customer Service Representative will have primary responsibility to provide high-level support by assisting customers, both internal and external, and providing accurate data entered in all necessary systems.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in an office environment with emphasis in transportation or freight forwarding preferred
  • Ability to type minimum of (40) words per minute, 10-key by touch and a high level of accuracy is required
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of customer service practices
  • Ability to assist in all areas of warehouse and administrative operations
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
  • Willing and able to work with all personality types in a professional, effective manner
  • Drug Screen (not including cannabis) and Background Check required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage heavy call and email volume in a professional and timely manner
  • Administer elevated service programs including customer reporting and communication processes for specific customers
  • Assists internal and external customers with information or document requests
  • Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations
  • Assists in maintaining and monitoring electronic data for customers
  • Operates inventory control, word processing, and spreadsheet applications for customers
  • Generates correspondence to secure additional customer information to resolve customer disputes
  • Responsible for regular attendance and promptness
