About The Position

The contractor Customer Service Representative 3 position at the Arizona Department of Revenue is a customer-facing role focused on licensing. This role is responsible for directly receiving, processing, and applying payments for all tax types in the forms of cash, checks, and money orders to taxpayer’s personal or business accounts, and also complete daily reconciliation and end-of-day balancing of assigned till. 100% Onsite. Interviews will be onsite as well. Tentative start date will be dependent upon interviews conducted, onboarding completed, and the state agency issuing a PO. HireRight must be used for Background Checks and Drug Screenings. Local Only Candidates - Resumes must specify the current location of the candidate, all those who do not state current location will not be considered. - AS A REMINDER - Candidates must be local at time of submission, and available for in person interviews within 1 week of the posting close date. Candidates must also be able to start within 2 weeks of an offer being made. Responsibilities include assisting taxpayers, processing license applications and updates, and providing information on licensing laws, rules, and procedures. This role requires in-person work at the Phoenix (8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday) office locations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in customer service
  • data entry
  • at least a few months of cashiering
