About The Position

This position is for a Customer Service Representative who will provide order status and information support, enter customer purchase orders, act as a liaison between customers and internal departments, and assist the Sales Manager with various tasks related to customer orders and quotes.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to complete tasks independently and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to seek out new tasks and welcome new challenges in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and various levels of management both written and verbal
• High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience in electronics industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides order status and information support to customers
• Enters customer purchase orders into accounting and scheduling system
• Acts as customer representative to other internal departments
• Acts as corporate representative to the customer
• Works with Sales Engineers to communicate all aspects of customer orders with customer
• Assists the Sales Manager in all duties and other tasks as assigned
• Enters parts orders and confirm with customers
• Generates quotes in business system from Service Reports
• Follows-up on customer to submit purchase orders for service quotes
• Converts quotes to order
• Prepares credit paperwork for review and approval
• Other duties as assigned
