About The Position

We have a great opportunity for a Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator responsible for providing proactive leadership and direction to the Customer Service and Logistics team, including the management of the customer ordering, inventory, and shipment processes.

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a low volume production environment involving complex engineering products is almost mandatory
  • Lean Manufacturing experience and knowledge is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree would be an advantage – business administration, management engineering, industrial technology.
  • D365 experience highly desirable
  • A 2-year Technical Degree or equivalent experience in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience to organize and maintain stock
  • Exposure to the manufacturing industry (specifically food and packaging)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Business Degree is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Train, motivate, and lead the team to achieve set objectives and targets, coordinating team resources to meet or exceed customer expectations. Ensure all staff management processes are completed as per tna requirements and meet all deadlines – including but not limited to performance reviews, salary reviews, recruitment processes, etc.
  • Provision of accurate lead times and part availability on order confirmations based on feedback from manufacturing branches and external vendors.
  • Develop and implement strategies effective for ensuring timely deliveries to branches and customers.
  • Ensure all parts documentation are sent to Finance for timely invoicing.
  • Collaborate with Aftermarket Sales Manager and other involved departments to resolve escalated problems.
  • Directly responsible for the execution of warranty claims from beginning to end, including ensuring that parts returned as defective or under warranty are properly coded and inventoried so that tna solutions will receive credit from the manufacturer/supplier.
  • Manage crating and freight costs for spare parts shipments (inwards/outwards/local/international)
  • Track and report on spares backlog
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy on an on-going basis with a calendar year-end and a fiscal year-end stock-take.
  • Ongoing management and analysis of spare parts inventories to maintain recommended safety stocking levels to continually improve service to our customers.
  • Continually monitor slow moving items, and execute plans to minimize these to eliminate write-offs
  • Clear and timely communication with our customers to provide proactive updates on delivery dates
  • Complete required reports are completed accurately and on time including monthly KPI reporting.
  • Other tasks / duties as reasonably requested
