About The Position

We are seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the relocation of household goods. In this role, you’ll ensure each move is handled with expertise, positivity, and exceptional service. You will proactively assess needs, coordinate multi‑supplier solutions, and maintain a smooth, consistent process from start to finish. This is an in‑office, non‑remote position requiring strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative, customer service, or operational support experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in logistics or transportation preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a customer‑first approach.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers during their relocation.
  • Collaborate closely with sales staff, operations planners, and dispatch to deliver top‑quality service.
  • Manage all daily activities related to household goods relocations.
  • Obtain orders, collect customer information, and provide quotes.
  • Prepare estimates and coordinate third‑party services as needed.
  • Create and maintain customer profiles.
  • Register orders and prepare operational documents (tickets, bills of lading, etc.).
  • Send client correspondence confirming move details and dates.
  • Support military OA/DA processes.
  • Conduct post‑move quality calls to ensure satisfaction.
  • Prepare driver paperwork and client reports.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Handle international relocations, including bookings and OA/DA.
  • Initiate and process quick claims.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Schedule services with dispatch.
  • Assist team members as needed to maintain smooth operations.
  • Make decisions regarding non‑revenue issues (third‑party services, quick claims, date extensions).
