Reporting to the Customer Service Representative, the Customer Service Assistant is responsible for providing a supporting role in billing, file organizing, scheduling, data entry, and other customer service-related areas that are needed. This role involves organizing files, mailing invoices, matching backup from carriers to sales orders, verifying billing, and identifying and labeling customer files. The assistant will also collect and review previous day’s shipments to efficiently process and invoice customers accurately, run daily reports for open orders, export them to Excel, format, and send them to the group in Outlook. Additionally, the position includes front office coverage, handling UPS, USPS, and FedEx, registering guests, managing the visitor log, assisting the general public and potential applicants, and managing inter-office mailings. Related duties and special projects will be assigned as needed.
