About The Position

Customer Service Assistant Position needed in Visalia. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Payrate: $17 DOE

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with various forms of office software and equipment, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Able to receive and follow instructions and effectively communicate with co-workers
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
  • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Experience in using word processing and spreadsheet programs

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience is preferred (corrugated industry is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Carry out day-to day organizational tasks and facilitate communication between management, customers and production department
  • Answer phones and manage office calendar
  • Update databases and various internal reports
  • General clerical work and recordkeeping tasks, including filing
  • Follow all rules, safety procedures and regulations of NexGen Container
  • Provide any assistance to management on various projects as needed
