About The Position

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Sales & Order Support • Partner with Area Sales Managers and Application Engineers to support a smooth and customer- focused sales process, including backup support for OMICRON Lab. • Support the full sales process from quotation – order processing – invoicing - collections • Review customer Terms & Conditions and vendor documentation using internal tools and AI-assisted resources • Process customer purchase orders and intercompany orders • Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time • Invoice customers and assist with payment follow-up • Coordinate with suppliers and couriers to resolve order-related questions • Maintain accurate data records in CRM and ERP systems (accounts, contacts, quotes, and orders) • Follow up on marketing and event contacts as needed Customer Support • Work closely with Area Sales Managers and Application Engineers to support customer needs • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email • Act as a main point of contact for customers throughout the sales process together with the Area Sales Manager • Follow up on customer inquiries and requests • Support customers during regular business hours • Perform other duties to support the CSS team Academy & Event Support (Backup Role) • Provide backup support for OMICRON Academy activities • Monitor the Academy mailbox and assist with event coordination • Assist in the Creation of Academy Calendar and CRM & WebEx entries • Prepare quotes, orders, and invoices for training and marketing events • Confirm registrations and support post-event follow-up (certificates, surveys, CRM updates, Leads) • Generate participant certificates and surveys for events and trainings • Assist Accounting team in any reconciliation help they may need. • Focus on scheduled training and creation of customized trainings within the CRM. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES • 3–5 years B2B sales support, customer service, or commercial operations experience • Experience managing order processing, invoicing, and collections in a B2B environment • Experience supporting technical or industrial products a plus WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Technical Experience • Experience working with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, Salesforce, SAP) • Strong in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel skills (pivot tables, reporting) • Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills Professional Skills • Excellent command of written and spoken English required • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Experience supporting marketing events a plus • Self-motivated and reliable • Enjoy working in a small team environment • Available to support company events and promotional activities as needed This is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities. Requirements
