About The Position

Join our Customer Operations team as a Senior Representative, where you'll play a critical role in supporting claims processing, legal documentation review, and beneficiary tracking. You'll be part of a small, high-performing team that values autonomy, reliability, and continuous learning. This role offers strong networking potential across support services and claims teams. If you're within a commutable distance (90 minutes), you'll join us 1 day each week in our offices to collaborate and build relationships. Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and focus.
  • Self-motivated and reliable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a queue-based environment.
  • Open to training; no prior life insurance experience required.
  • Ability to work with legal documents and conduct state-level compliance research.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Claims Briefs: Compile, distribute, and complete claim briefs based on death notifications, coordinating with internal teams to gather contract data.
  • Beneficiary Research: Investigate and verify beneficiary information for self-administered claims using internal systems.
  • Legal Documentation Review: Process and validate transfer of ownership and power of attorney documents, ensuring compliance with state-specific legal standards.
  • Accounting Support: Assist with claims voucher entries to ensure accurate fund transfers and offsets.
  • Miscellaneous Processes: Participate in weekly and quarterly operational tasks as needed.
