About The Position

Meets one on one with target audiences to provide education about rehabilitation services and products offered. Recommends physician contacts to staff in response to information obtained from marketing contacts. Addresses the referral process and satisfaction issues through formal and informal customer assessments. Tracks, monitors and works with rehabilitation leadership and staff for process improvement related to rehabilitation referral trends. Develops annual plan for growth of rehab services referrals with identification of target markets that reinforce rehabilitation and FLOYD strategic plans. Researches and identifies potential customers such as new physicians, insurance companies and medical buildings with the need for new services to be offered. Identifies and monitors competition and works with rehab staff and public relations staff to overcome competitor strengths. Provides updates to rehab services director and staff about activities, customer concerns and ways to gain an edge over competition. Makes recommendations in marketing plan development discussions for promotional materials, activities, seminars, association meetings and exhibits that lead to increased sales of rehabilitation and FLOYD services. Coordinates exhibit management. Sets up exhibits when needed and assists in manning display booths. Instructs and provides routine training for other employees in display management and develops control mechanisms for major exhibit materials. Coordinates and conducts tours when necessary while answering customer questions about the hospital and its satellites. Coordinates rehab educational series for external case managers, adjusters and physicians including CEU administration, liaison with professional associations, catering, scheduling/setting up rooms, creating handouts, notifying speakers, arranging audiovisual equipment, taking registrations, RSVP’s and conducting program evaluation. Develops a monthly contact list with Director of Rehabilitation for one on one contact expectations. Reorganizes workload in response to stat or heavy workload. Effectively solicits help from others when necessary and initiates correction of minor problems as they occur.

Requirements

  • Valid Georgia Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • At least two years in a sales, marketing or customer service role
  • Frequent sitting and/or standing, often for long periods of time.
  • Frequent walking bending, stooping, pushing, twisting and turning.
  • Occasionally lifts 10 pounds or more of office related equipment or supplies.
  • Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity in reaching, grasping and handling with repetitive use of hands and fingers in operating computer, calculator, telephone, copier, fax and similar office equipment.
  • Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols with normal range of vision and hearing and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Work-related stress due to volume and time constraints.
  • May require travel by vehicle to alternative locations.
