Position Summary Join our Business Operations team as a Customer Analyst, where you will support and optimize essential field functions including meter reading, field revenue collections and various Operational projects. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about using data to drive operational excellence and improve customer outcomes. The Customer Analyst is responsible for managing analytical tracking and reporting processes that support field operations to support data driven decision making. This includes gathering, interpreting, and presenting performance metrics, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights to improve service delivery, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The role supports both business intelligence and business analytics functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with field operations, utility services, or customer service environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and Excel; experience with BI platforms is a plus.
  • Demonstrated familiarity and comfortability with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and influencing decisions.
  • Independently plan and execute tasks supporting non-routine activities and projects.
  • Select appropriate methods and techniques for analysis.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align methods with project goals.
  • Lead meetings, present findings, and interpret data.
  • Apply professional concepts to resolve complex issues creatively.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and make decisions impacting short-term timelines.
  • May coordinate activities of other personnel and report to Managers/Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and report on metrics related to meter reading accuracy, completion rates, and exception handling.
  • Monitor performance of meter change activities, including scheduling efficiency and completion timelines.
  • Track and evaluate field collections data, including success rates and customer engagement outcomes.
  • Collaborate with field teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with operational goals.
  • Create visual dashboards and reports to communicate performance trends and opportunities.
  • Support regulatory compliance by maintaining and reporting on mandated service levels.
  • Investigate and resolve data-related issues or escalated field concerns.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and respond to data requests from internal stakeholders.
  • Make operational and process recommendations based on data and analytics as needed.
