The position of Custodian performs janitorial and general maintenance duties across the organization to maintain a clean and desirable appearance of the NTMWD campus.

Requirements

Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Good physical condition
Stamina
Some dexterity with fingers and hands
Ability and willingness to follow instructions
Demonstrated reliability and honesty
Maintain a current, valid, and vehicle-appropriate driver's license of their resident state (as driving a District vehicle for business will be required).

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of general building maintenance is a plus.
General mechanical duties desired.

Responsibilities

Provides janitorial services in the Administration and Operations Buildings.
Sweeps, mops, waxes, and polishes floors; washes walls and woodwork; dusts furniture, piping, valves, etc.
Washes and polishes windows and metal surfaces.
Empties waste cans.
Performs general custodial duties on grounds, including picking up litter and sweeping walks.
Reports any repairs or adjustments required to Custodial Crewleader.
May restock consumables like coffee, vending machines and similar.
May be required to work overtime as needed.
