About The Position

The Custodian shall possess the appropriate experience and skill set to perform all General Housekeeping duties, including all daily, weekly, bi-weekly, etc. Custodians must be able to perform the following cleaning tasks at a minimum; vacuuming/sweeping floors, washing hard surface floors, waste stream removal and sorting, dusting, cleaning windows/glass surfaces, cleaning and sanitizing of bathrooms, disinfecting high touch surfaces, carpet spot stain removal, hard surface wipe down/stain removal, etc. At UG2, a leader in facility services, we are committed to innovation, excellence, and client satisfaction. Requirements

Must be able to take direction
work with minimal supervision
be able to function cooperatively as part of the team
Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending, lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
Gather and empty trash.
Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Clean kitchenettes and appliances
Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Notify manager if any concerns or needs.
Maintains equipment and supplies in good working condition.
Ability to put on (donning) and remove (doffing) oneself with appropriate .PPE when required for labs.
Clean glass and walls of fingerprints and spills.
Ensuring the tidiness of any areas assigned in your schedule.
Clean Tables and Counter Tops.
Remove marks on hard surface floors.
Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision and be able to function cooperatively as part of the team.
