About The Position

A successful campus Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and presentation of the campus facilities. The successful candidate will effectively maintain the facility, help to create a positive environment, and have a strong customer service focus, both for students and staff.

Requirements

• WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF THE CUSTODIAL TRADE
• SUFFICIENT STRENGTH AND PHYSICAL DEXTERITY TO PERFORM THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB, INCLUDING HEAVY LIFTING

Nice To Haves

• HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED
• 5 YEARS OF VARIED CUSTODIAL/MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all Custodial needs
• Cleaning
• Restocking of supplies
• Manage supply use and identify need for/submit orders as required
• Take on or assist with projects as needed at the direction of the Executive Director
• Follow oral and/or written instructions
• Communicate effectively in both oral and written form
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work assignments.
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned
