About The Position

Aliviane Inc. is committed to providing treatment to members of our community who struggle with substance abuse. Through substance use and mental health services, education, and awareness we help people recover from addiction as they embrace their voice, discover their journey, and engage their community. The success of our mission is made possible by the skills and contributions of our diverse team. The Custodian is responsible for complying with all instructions and policies pertaining to the agencies buildings and grounds. Duties include cleaning and maintenance of assigned facility of Aliviane Inc.

Requirements

Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures.
Skill in the use of custodial materials and chemicals and the operation of custodial equipment.
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Reliable, responsible, dependable, and capable of fulfilling obligations.
Careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
Understanding and utilization of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains buildings in clean and orderly condition.
Picks up paper and other waste on the ground and sweeps entrances.
Empties all trash and garbage containers daily.
Vacuums all the carpets in offices, sweeps, and mops all appropriate rooms daily.
Maintains various office and restroom supplies, including towels, soap, tissues, and other sanitary items.
Cleans all bathrooms daily.
Keeps the storage rooms clean and orderly.
Returns tools, cleaning equipment, etc., to its proper place.
Maintains good work habits through timeliness and low absenteeism.
Orders materials, supplies, or equipment.
