About The Position

AMPI owns six Midwest-based manufacturing plants where 10 percent of the nation’s American-type cheese and processed cheese is produced. The cooperative’s award-winning cheese and powdered dairy products are marketed to foodservice, retail and food ingredient customers. In 2019, the co-op launched its Dinner Bell Creamery brand and accompanying Co-op Crafted promise, highlighting more than 50 years of dairy farm families partnering with skilled cheesemakers. All AMPI employees have an obligation to report employee safety, food safety and food quality issues to personnel of authority. Responsibilities

Report employee safety, food safety and food quality issues to personnel of authority, with heightened food safety and food quality responsibilities.
Clean, sanitize, mop, dust, vacuum, wipe, organize, empty trash and stock supplies for Breakrooms, locker rooms, Offices, Lab, and all restrooms using established practices and procedures.
Wash accessible interior and exterior windows; clean blinds.
Stock offices/departments with appropriate supplies.
Perform daily, weekly, and seasonal duties as outlined on Custodial Duty List.
Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools: buffers, scrubbers, high pressure washers, vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
Check eyewash and shower stations weekly.
Handle recycling materials.
