About The Position

Evapco is currently hiring a Custodian who will perform ground maintenance, housekeeping, and janitorial duties throughout the facility under minimal supervision.

Requirements

A general understanding of standard cleaning tools and chemicals
Familiar with standard hand and power tools
Ability to read and understand cleaning and operator instructions and information
High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
High School diploma or GED equivalent, vocational school is required

Nice To Haves

Man-lift certified, preferred

Responsibilities

Cleans and sanitizes all offices, restrooms, drinking fountains, and break/meal room areas
Mixes own cleaning solutions to an appropriate strength
Removes trash and recyclables in all assigned areas to bulk dumpsters
Maintain all landscaping and parking areas
Maintain assigned tools and equipment
Set up designated areas for group meetings
Follow the established cleaning routine, but respond to unplanned events as directed
Knowledge of Bloodborne Pathogen
Attend training courses as directed by management
May perform other duties as assigned
Demonstrate superior service skill(s) and professionalism in day-to-day dealings with coworkers, setting a good example in attendance and work ethics.
Willingness to learn
Ensures adherence to company policies and work rules, as well as ensuring a safe work environment is maintained
Stay abreast of changes to SDS and new cleaning products
Maintain excellent work attendance
Maintain a cheerful and positive attitude
May assist other maintenance personnel with minor repairs
Strive to continually improve quality, safety, 6-S, and productivity within your areas of responsibility
