About The Position

Summary Perform building and grounds maintenance and repair as assigned by the Head Custodian or building Principal. Essential Duties/Responsibilities 1. Cleaning building including mop, sweep, vaccuum, dust, polish, and maintain floors. 2. Help with summer building cleaning and maintenance. 3. Building security after school and during evening events. 4. Help with snow and ice removal. Minimum Requirements: Education -High School Diploma/GED preferred -Custodial experience preferred Knowledge -Stripping, waxing, and sealing floors -How to properly clean spaces Skills -Able to use cleaning, waxing, buffing, appliances and tools Physical Requirements -Heavy lifting up to 50lbs -Moving furniture -Sweeping and mopping -Climbing a ladder -Shoveling snow The preceding job description provides information that is needed to define necessary elements of this job. Requirements
