About The Position

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, Custodial Assistant Managers and the Lead Custodians, the part-time Custodian works closely with the Custodial team to maintain a clean and safe environment for the general public. Custodians maintain equipment and other supplies while dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and general cleaning. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with a 15 to 25 hours per week. Weekend and holiday availability. Shifts range between 7am and 10pm during normal hours of operation.

Requirements

• Valid NC driver’s license preferred
• Knowledge of small power tool use preferred
• Self-driven and motivated
• Positive Attitude

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning bathrooms and floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish
• Ensure public facilities are well-maintained and stocked with product (restrooms, hand-washing stations, hand-sanitizer stations)
• Ensure pathways are debris free. Clean snow from the sidewalks.
• Collect garbage and recycling throughout the facility
• Maintain clean picnic areas
• Assist with small cleaning and repair projects
• Notify management of the need for repairs
• Respond to radio calls for Custodial services
• Other related duties as assigned
