About The Position
This position is responsible for: Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis.
Requirements
- No formal education or experience required.
- Six (6) months experience performing general housekeeping duties.
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Ability to exert the physical energy required to performing housekeeping and minor maintenance work
- Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing
- Work is performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, and dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors
Responsibilities
- Ability to perform general maintenance and cleaning activities for buildings and grounds
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms; clean sinks and toilets, polish mirrors, and replenish supplies.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors, floors; sweep sidewalks.
- Cleans windows.
- Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures.
