The Custodian/Facility Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across MHM facilities and grounds. This role supports facility operations by performing custodial services, assisting with routine maintenance, coordinating facility setups, and ensuring supplies and equipment are maintained. The attendant works closely with internal teams, contractors, and external vendors to ensure quality service delivery and safe facility operations. This position contributes to a positive client and team member experience by upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and stewardship of MHM assets. Scope and Impact This position supports daily operations by ensuring facilities are clean, organized, safe, and functioning properly. Work impacts service delivery, client experience, staff safety, regulatory compliance, and the general usability of all building spaces. The role supports multiple programs by managing room setup, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining equipment, which contributes to overall organizational efficiency. Decision-Making Authority Operates under general supervision with autonomy to carry out cleaning routines, perform minor repairs, restock supplies, and coordinate setups. Identifies facility-related issues and escalates major concerns or safety risks to the supervisor. Interactions / Working Relationships Internal: Facilities team, clinic staff, program staff, managers, and evening cleaning crew. External: Vendors, service contractors, regulatory agencies (when interfacing with inspections), and delivery personnel.
