About The Position

To proactively learn, grow, and provide support to the Cumberland Passion Kids team by helping to create an atmosphere of faith, encouragement, belief, worship and truth for newborns through 5th grade at Passion City Church. A positive, team-oriented, kingdom-minded individual who models humility, determination, service, and accuracy as they play a pivotal role on the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Passionate about learning and receiving theological training through seminary.
  • Loves Jesus, the people of Passion City Church, the city of Atlanta and the world.
  • Willingness to adapt and be flexible, while working above and beyond expectations.
  • Acts as an advocate of the culture and vision of Passion.
  • Low drama, high-momentum, high-capacity, positivity, over-comer, dreamer, creative can-do-whatever-it-takes attitude.
  • High level of initiative and ability to take a proactive approach to work.
  • Performs Resident and job duties on time and with excellence.
  • Actively participates in the life of Passion City Church, including but not limited to weekly Sunday attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Attend and actively participate in all Passion Residency Formations, team events, ALL SKATES, and blackout dates.
  • Complete any and all Passion Residency curriculum, assignments, and tasks on time and with excellence
  • Successfully learn in and complete all seminary class assignments on time and with excellence
  • Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Complete any and all Passion Residency curriculum, assignments, and tasks on time and with excellence.
  • Assist with Sunday “point” duties for Passion Kids team and host team
  • Gather and prepare Passion Kids curriculum supplies weekly
  • Order and stock regular supplies for registration desk, Passion Kids environment and tent spaces weekly
  • Build relationships with young leaders of our House and work to engage them into the life of Passion City. This could include creating + coordinating monthly gatherings and other opportunities to build community.
  • Organize and help execute events such as team night, family events and any Door Holder gatherings
  • Assist with the care of Passion Kids Door Holders
  • Assist with the production of up to date training content for Door Holder teams
  • Attend Passion Kids team meetings, Family Ministry team meetings and Cumberland team meetings
  • Support and participate in Cumberland team initiatives
