Cultivation Facilities Specialist - Madison
About The Position
The Cultivation Facilities Specialist will be responsible for taking inventory and reporting it to the Inventory and Compliance manager. Other responsibilities include maintaining a clean and orderly environment throughout the facility, and receiving and organizing incoming shipments. Essential functions involve performing daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in grow room floors, corridors, and bathrooms. The specialist will also spray floors with disinfecting chemicals for biosecurity, handle laundered items, wash dishes when necessary, receive, stock, and manage consumables inventory, and report supply restocking needs to the Inventory Team. Additionally, the role requires making adjustments and small repairs as needed, assisting the cultivation team with miscellaneous tasks, and collecting Cleaning Validation Swabs. The job operates in both greenhouse and warehouse environments, where conditions in the greenhouse can be bright, with varying temperatures and humidities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Ability to pass state mandated background check
- Reliable Transportation
- 0-3 years of farming or janitorial work
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques
- Organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50 lb
- Ability to wear a fitted respirator
- Enthusiasm about the Medical Marijuana Industry
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of farming or maintenance experience
- Experience with cleanroom or other detailed cleaning
Responsibilities
