About The Position

Summary: The Culinary Supervisor over Premium Clubs is responsible fo supervises culinary team members, assists with food production and service, and ensures food quality, presentation, and consistency standards are met. The Premium Club Culinary Supervisor plays a key leadership role in delivering a high-quality dining experience for guests in a fast-paced sports and entertainment environment during Atlanta Hawks games, concerts, and special events.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong line experience, plating, and food presentation experience
  • Experience with prep, production, and service execution in a high-volume environment
  • Experience working in restaurants, hotels, sports and entertainment venues, or private clubs preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership and team supervision skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team during service
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant, hotel, premium dining, or club environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
  • Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.
  • Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
  • Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.
  • Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste.
  • Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
  • Operates food-service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures.
  • Helps serves meals; remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
