Successful candidates have a deep background in cryogenics, a focus on dilution refrigerators, and demonstrated ability to transfer commercial or academic research to fast-paced innovation, prototyping, and deployment. Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years designing, building, or significantly modifying dilution refrigerators.
- Self-starter with ability to drive results independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the conception, design, development and manufacture of cryogenic hardware.
- Design and conduct experiments to test modifications to existing components and prototypes to increase performance, efficiency, and manufacturability.
- Partner with engineers to translate innovations into functional prototypes and production-ready products.
- Work across functional areas (cryogenic, electrical, software) to deliver fully integrated products.
