Dove is a growing brand with big ambitions to expand offerings and presence. The candidate will be responsible for formulation and product development as a Technical Project Leader for Dove Face Care, specifically supporting large global projects that encompass multiple regions and product types within skin care. Who You Are & What You’ll Do As part of the Skin Care Brand Design team, we are leading new ways of working throughout Unilever. We work with smaller/leaner teams dedicated to paving a new path toward speed and innovation. This position will require you to: Lead technical elements of brand activities: Including formulation, stability, safety and performance testing (both internally and through 3rd Party Manufacturers), specifications, patents, etc. Have proven ability to design products against technical briefs and be responsible for ensuring specifications of formulation, process, pack and Quality Assurance are correct and delivered against project timings. This will include formulation make activities for Unilever core competency products. This also includes technical action standards, product performance standards, and positive assurance documents. Develop and drive productive working relationships with a range of partners, including Process Eng., Packaging, Consumer Technical Insight & Claims, Specifications, Safety, Brand Teams, Supply Chain, collaborative manufacturers, Raw material Suppliers etc. Identify and develop new approaches and capabilities to support the programs. Responsible for shaping the technical aspects of product briefs and executing the delivery network with Full Team and/or 3rd Parties. As appropriate, use real time consumer data to identify and develop new opportunities or products against specific consumer needs. Responsible for risk management, claims and legal compliance and for intellectual property protection and patent, regulatory and safety clearance for internal formulations. Responsible for managing relationships with, & On Time In Full output of supplier partners as well as stakeholder management regarding technical issues/status.
