About The Position

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Entertainment, the Crowd Control Specialist assists with ensuring the safety, security, set up and teardown of entertainment venues. Work with Public Safety to report potential issues and manage dress code policy while providing an exceptional guest experience. Under no circumstances will physical force be used in this position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Ensuresguest safety through observing and surveying the crowd at all times. Patrols entertainment venues to preserve order among guests and protect assets. Promotes positive public relations and strives to create an enjoyable atmosphere for all guests. Responds to requests for assistance and information in a helpful and courteous manner. 2. Monitors dress code and checking guest’s identification to ensure they are age appropriate. Screens guests with metal detectors and conducts guests’ bag checks. 3. Promotes and issues the Player’s Club card. 4. Works to prevent and resolve altercations among guests. Stops all inappropriate behavior immediately in a professional manner. 5. Enforces capacity regulations and assists with entertainment venue counts. 6. Assists with event set up and breakdown. 7. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum six (6) months guest services experience required.
  • Must be able to multi-task effectively.
  • Must be able to clearly speak, read and write in English language.
  • Must maintain good personal grooming habits and carry self in a professional business manner.
  • Maintain the passion necessary to execute world-class service to every guest.
  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
