About The Position

Alta Equipment Group is seeking an experienced CRM Support Specialist to support and maintain our Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM environment. This role sits within the Marketing Department and works closely with the CRM System Administrator to support CRM users, maintain data quality, assist with reporting, and help execute CRM-related processes that support Sales Enablement and Marketing initiatives. This position is intended for a candidate who already has hands-on CRM experience and is comfortable supporting users, managing data, and assisting with CRM configuration and reporting.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience working with a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred; Salesforce or similar CRM experience acceptable)
  • Experience supporting CRM users and performing data management tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level or higher
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Professional communication and customer service mindset
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and process-driven
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the CRM and marketing technology space

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating CRM reports and dashboards
  • Familiarity with basic CRM automation concepts (workflows, flows, or business rules)
  • Exposure to SQL, data visualization tools, or analytics platforms (preferred, not required)
  • Experience working in a marketing, sales support, or customer operations environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM users, including troubleshooting issues and responding to support requests
  • Assist with CRM onboarding for new employees and provide ongoing training support for existing users
  • Support CRM configuration activities under the guidance of the CRM System Administrator (fields, forms, views, and basic automations)
  • Help maintain CRM documentation, processes, and best practices
  • Perform regular database audits and data cleansing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity
  • Assist with importing, updating, and validating large datasets within CRM
  • Support data governance efforts and help enforce data standards across departments
  • Create and maintain CRM views, reports, and dashboards to support business needs
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and data requests
  • Partner with Marketing and Analytics teams to help surface insights from CRM data, with guidance from the CRM Administrator
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales and IT Data teams to support CRM-related initiatives
  • Assist with CRM enhancements and testing
  • Support ongoing CRM projects and process improvements as assigned
