Together, we empower clients to create sustainable growth, optimize internal processes and deliver better consumer outcomes. We are seeking a highly skilled CareAdvance Configuration Analyst/SME. The ideal candidate will have experience in systems configuration, claims and the Clinical and Care Management system CareAdvance Enterprise Applications (CCA). Also, must have advanced knowledge/experience within health plan configuration including healthcare services, medical management, population health management, and associated industry care guideline standards. Must be able to work as part of a team or as a team lead within a consulting environment. Duration: 3 mos, with possible extension W2 Hourly only (US Citizen/Green card) Not Available to C2C/1099 Start: Immediate Location: Remote

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Systems Configuration, Claims or other Operations department in a healthcare organization.
  • 5+ years working with CareAdvance Enterprise Application.
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience with health plan configuration, including healthcare services, medical management, population health management and associated industry care guidelines and standards (i.e. Milliman Care Guidelines).
  • Knowledge of and experience with configuration change management methodologies, standards and best practices.
  • Experience with project management methodologies is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and communicate the business needs at both clinical and technical levels and translate them into configuration requirements.
  • Ability to analyze process and document as workflows, perform gap analysis, and develop future state standardized workflows.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings with participants at varying levels within the organization.
  • Ability to manage projects and initiatives independently end-to-end.
  • Ability to meet agreed upon timelines with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various levels of peers and management throughout the organization, as well as with vendors.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with constantly shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to come into work on time, on a daily basis.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers and documents requirements, performs analysis and develops configuration design to meet the business needs.
  • Manages complex system configuration and related documentation.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for configuration change management testing and related best practices.
  • Facilitates production controls and system configuration data codification.
  • Monitor and review system edits and conduct advanced root cause analysis to identify issues and provide well thought-out recommendations for resolution, including those requiring multi-disciplinary technical skills.
  • Identify and facilitate the implementation of process improvements and best practices.
  • Interface and collaborate with peers and management in Healthcare Services and throughout the organization and industry to support configuration management best practices, system configuration life cycle management, project/program plans and tracking of configuration change and operational issues and resolution.
  • Represents the team on appropriate internal committees and external committees associated with the system solution.
  • Makes system-based recommendations regarding enhancement requests and implementation of enhancement features.
  • Leads and manages configuration project timelines to meet agreed upon deliverables.
  • Coordinates the preparation and execution of test plans to validate that configuration updates/system fixes are complete, accurate and that enhancements function as designed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
