About The Position

We are looking for a companionate and team-oriented Crisis Services Coordinator to join our Crisis Services team. The Crisis Services Coordinator coordinates agency crisis service delivery, including agency intakes, walk-in services, and the 24/7 crisis hotline. The Crisis Services Coordinator provides direct client services including, needs assessment, crisis intervention, safety planning, risk assessment, and education on crime victim's rights and agency services. This position requires availability to provide on-call coverage and backup onsite coverage as needed including evenings and weekends. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field
  • Two years of experience in crisis intervention or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Demonstrated personnel and program management experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of relationship violence, sexual assault, and trauma informed interventions
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Office applications such as Word and Excel
  • Must be at least 23 years old
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience supervising or leading staff in a fast-paced or crisis response environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the hiring, training, supervision, and scheduling of Crisis Services Advocates
  • Coordinate crisis service delivery, including agency intakes, walk-in services, and the 24/7 crisis line
  • Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, risk assessment, and resource coordination for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault
  • Conduct intake and crisis line services, including telephone screening for shelter eligibility and development of individualized service plans based on client needs
  • Coordinate scheduling for crisis line and intake services
  • Train staff and volunteers on intake and crisis line processes; ensure accurate and complete documentation
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support crisis services, shelter operations, and Survivors’ Advocacy Team (SAT) services
  • Ensure appropriate referrals and up-to-date information are provided to clients
  • Maintain accurate, confidential client records and collect/report service data
  • Apply professional judgment to client interventions, decision-making, and problem-solving
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with community partners
  • Participate in staff meetings and training as required
  • Maintain availability for evening coverage as needed to support program operations
  • Provide on-call coverage and backup onsite coverage as needed
