About The Position

We are hiring a Crisis Response Team Member for our Crisis Response program! Job Summary: Serve as a member of the CenterPointe Crisis Response Team, providing support to individuals and overseeing the health and safety of the environment and individuals. Offer resources and access to individuals seeking services related to mental health, substance use, or primary care services. Participate as an active member of the Crisis Response Team.

Requirements

  • Effective listening.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication KPI).
  • Promptness and flexibility. No more than 5 minutes late for start of shift (KPI).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of substance and mental health issues.
  • 2 or more years of education in the Behavioral Health Field. Bachelor's Degree Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred.
  • Experience responding to crisis situations
  • Experience working with persons from diverse backgrounds.
  • Valid driver's license. Clean DMV record.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • May consider individuals with lived experience and 2 or more years of experience working in the Behavioral Health Field.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly attend scheduled overnight, weekend, or day shifts. No more than 8 unplanned absences per year (KPI).
  • Conduct intakes with individuals, which will include taking vitals, and monitor for withdrawal symptoms.
  • Answer the Crisis Response Hotline during scheduled shift.
  • Complete, process, and maintain all required paperwork in a timely manner, including but not limited to intake documents, shift notes, crisis phone contacts, follow-up contacts, and outreach contacts. Crisis calls to be documented within 24 hours of call.
  • Act as liaison and consult with community agencies and families to maintain coordination in the treatment process. Participate in one outreach activity per month (KPI).
  • Respond to internal and external individuals in crisis and make appropriate interventions.
  • Provide on call crisis intervention on a rotating schedule, including evening, weekend, and holiday hours as scheduled.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by Senior Director of Community Response
  • Participate as a team member. Works cooperatively with others (KPI).
  • Demonstrate positive attitude toward clients, staff and agency (KPI).
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with agency trainings/certifications (CPR/First Aid, Counseling on Access to Lethal Means, Live Worth Living Pathway, NEO) (KPI)
  • Maintain timely completion and compliance with Relias Learning coursework (KPI)
  • Attend 8 All Staff Meetings annually (KPI)
  • Maintain compliance with licensure by acquiring appropriate CEU's (KPI)
  • Participate in assigned committee(s); regularly attends committee meetings.
