About The Position

MIND 24-7 is transforming behavioral health care by providing immediate, on-site crisis intervention—no mobile response required. As a Crisis Intake Case Manager, you are the first point of contact for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. You will create a compassionate, structured, and therapeutic entry into care while supporting the multidisciplinary team in determining the appropriate level of treatment. This role is ideal for a collaborative professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is deeply committed to safety, dignity, and trauma-informed care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (required) Bachelor’s in Psychology (preferred)
  • 4+ years behavioral health experience (HS diploma)
  • Experience in crisis stabilization, psychiatric, or behavioral health settings (required)
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • SafeClinch or equivalent de-escalation training (or willingness to complete)
  • Strong assessment, interviewing, and documentation skills
  • Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in high-stress environments
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and basic computer applications
  • Commitment to trauma-informed care and patient dignity

  • Bachelor’s in Psychology (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive initial case assessments, gathering clinical history, symptoms, and social supports
  • Perform suicide and safety risk screenings in alignment with program protocols
  • Present intake findings clearly to the multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Coordinate admissions logistics and collaborate with Behavioral Health Technicians and clinical staff
  • Provide patients and families with program orientation and care expectations
  • Support discharge planning, case management, and social determinant resource recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
  • Communicate professionally with referral sources and internal teams
  • Utilize trauma-informed de-escalation techniques in high-stress situations
  • Safely participate in physical interventions (including approved holds/restraints) when required, following MIND 24-7 safety protocols
  • Travel between clinic locations as needed to support patient care operations
  • Strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations and all company compliance standards
  • Attend required supervision and complete ongoing clinical training
