About The Position

The Criminal Justice Department seeks qualified individuals to join our adjunct hiring pool to express their interest in future, part-time teaching assignments at Worcester State. Sample course titles include, but are not limited to: introduction to criminal justice, evidence collection, cybersecurity and cybercrime, homeland security, emergency management, mental illness in criminal justice, forensic psychology, criminal law, criminal justice ethics, and security studies. Adjunct faculty members teach 3-credit undergraduate courses, typically at the introductory level. Total credits will vary from 3 - 9 in the day division, DGCE, or a combination thereof.

Requirements

  • Master's degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
  • College Teaching experience is preferred.
  • Experience with distance learning management system preferred.
  • Must have a laptop and reliable internet access.
