We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Credit Manager to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team! Reporting to the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance the Credit Manager at our prestigious 5-star hotel, you will manage the financial transactions related to group sales billings. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely billing, maintaining financial records, and fostering positive relationships with clients.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in accounts receivable, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Accounts Receivable: Keeping track of all outstanding debts and ensuring timely collection of payments.
  • Monitoring Credit Limits: Setting and enforcing credit limits for guests to prevent overextension and potential financial risks.
  • Reconciling Accounts: Ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial records by reconciling accounts.
  • Processing Payments: Overseeing the payment processing system to ensure smooth and secure transactions.
  • Analyzing Financial Data: Utilizing financial analysis tools to assess the financial health of the hotel and identify trends.
  • Providing Regular Reports: Generating reports for management to monitor the hotel's financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with hotel policies and financial regulations. Assist with internal and external audits related to accounts receivable.
