About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our friendly & supportive team of 6 to join us on an initial 14 month fixed term contract, with the possibility of moving into a permanent position. As our Credit Controller, you’ll play an important part in supporting Ando’s goals by helping keep our financial operations running smoothly. You’ll focus on accurate and timely premium allocations, reducing outstanding payments and unallocated cash, and continuously improving the way we work. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, strong relationships, and a proactive mindset really matter.

Requirements

  • Strong (ideally 5+ years') experience in a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role
  • A solid understanding of payment allocation, debtors management, and reconciliation processes
  • Experience working with allocation systems and managing unallocated cash
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Confident communication and a customer-focused approach when working with stakeholders
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in the insurance industry is desirable
  • Grappler experience is also desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Processing daily premium receipt allocations and completing bank reconciliations
  • Managing unallocated cash and following up on unpaid or unmatched items
  • Analysing overdue premium receivables and working closely with brokers to resolve issues
  • Reconciling customer and broker accounts and investigating discrepancies
  • Responding to internal and external queries with a helpful, solutions-focused approach
  • Preparing aged debtor reporting and identifying opportunities to improve credit control processes
