About The Position

The Credit and Collections Manager leads the day-to-day AR operations to ensure accurate billing, timely cash application, effective collections, and strong customer account management. This role drives cash flow performance, supports working capital objectives, and develops a high-performing AR team while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, credit management, and collections strategy
Ability to analyze aging trends and drive performance improvement
Experience working within ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar)
Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and lead in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounts receivable operations including invoicing, cash application, collections, credit memos, and account reconciliations
Monitor aging reports and proactively manage delinquent accounts to improve DSO
Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve billing disputes and customer account issues
Ensure billing accuracy in alignment with contractual terms and company policies
Prepare and analyze AR metrics and reporting for leadership
Support cash forecasting and working capital management initiatives
Lead month-end and year-end close activities related to receivables
Maintain strong internal controls and support internal and external audit requirements
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk
