About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Credit Analyst to join our Credit and Collections team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and resolving customer accounts, handling collections, addressing billing discrepancies, and ensuring smooth communication across internal departments. The role involves a variety of tasks, including order releases, balancing accounts, addressing pricing discrepancies, managing payments, and maintaining customer relationships.

Requirements

Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit analysis.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

Conduct collection calls, generate monthly account statements, follow up on unpaid invoices, and reduce delinquency for assigned accounts.
Handle customer service issues, process refunds, account adjustments, and ensure accurate payment reconciliation.
Resolve billing discrepancies and work with relevant departments (sales, accounting) to correct issues.
Review and release orders as needed.
Assist with customer payment application for payments without remittance information.
Process customer payments and manage COD accounts.
Set up new accounts, pull credit reports, and submit credit requests for approval.
Ensure that builders approve purchase orders and invoices for timely payment.
Track payments via customer websites and liaise with builders to obtain payment approvals.
Handle missing invoices and reprint them for customers for multiple business units.
Investigate missing deposits and work with accounting to ensure deposits are correctly applied.
