About The Position

This position is responsible for the support of quality loan origination, analysis, processing and reporting of the full assessment of credits and timely completion of credit analyses associated with condominium and home owner association related loans. In this position, you will: Prepare written credit memorandums on all new loans, renewals, extension and modification relative to financial strengths and weaknesses of borrowers, risk assessments, industry analysis, collateral and loan structures with opinions as to credit worthiness. Gather information on actual and prospective borrowers through inquiries and investigations with Associations, financial institutions, professional firms or individuals and in-house information on borrowers relative to loan amount, activity, profitability and affiliate relationships. Assist in portfolio management activities such as completing Annual Financial Updates and Loan Management Reports on existing borrowers. Spread financial statements using computerized financial software program and analyze reports produced by the system for preparation of written reviews. Accompany account officers on calls to develop more information on the companies being analyzed and better assess the risks associated with the credit. Monitor the loan compliance on existing customer accounts. Regularly track the stages of active and pending loans. Analyze loans highlighting any problems or questions and writing the final credit analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance combined with a minimum 2 years related Financial Analysis Background work experience .
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Desirable Education/Experience : Condominium and Homeowner Assoc., Industry experience.
  • Knowledge of banking products, services, policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance related to area of responsibility (AML/BSA/etc).
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office programs, Excel analysis required.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following: Commercial and consumer credit regulations, policies, and procedures; Loan analysis, restructuring, and documentation; Collection Techniques and Structure financing analysis.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting and legal principles underlying the bank’s documents.
