Our Credit Analyst internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn the fundamentals of commercial lending, credit risk assessment, and financial analysis. As an intern, you’ll work closely with experienced professionals across internal teams to gain real-world exposure to loan evaluation and portfolio management. This internship is designed for motivated students who want to strengthen their analytical toolkit, build professional skills, and gain insight into the fast-paced world of commercial credit.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with financial statements, ratios, and credit concepts
• Proficiency with Excel; experience with financial modeling or data analysis tools is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a professional environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze personal and business financial statements and tax returns
• Build cash flow models and apply financial ratios (LTV, Loan-to-Cost, DSCR, DTI)
• Participate in credit risk evaluations and learn risk mitigation strategies
• Gain exposure to loan origination systems, financial modeling software, and reporting tools
• Research market trends and economic indicators impacting commercial lending
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to client-facing communications and professional presentations
