About The Position

Coordinates timely implementation of the credentialing function for the medical/dental staff and allied health care providers. Ensures proper credentials verification for appointment/reappointment of all medical/dental staff and allied health care providers of the Hospital's facilities. Oversees maintenance of departmental data bases which guide identifying physician information throughout the Hospital's facilities. Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years related work experience in medical staff credentialing with demonstrated ability in handling responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and monitors information collection and tracks file through verification
  • Oversees daily operation and participates in maintaining current and accurate Medical Staff/Allied Health Care Provider profilesand data bases and the preparation of reports as requested.
  • Provides continuum of Medical Staff support services and acts as key Medical Staff support in Coordinator’s absence.
  • Supports daily Medical Staff Services operations efficiently.
