About The Position

Coordinate and perform functions related to medical and allied health professional staff credentialing, reappointment, and privileging. Assures credentialing, reappointment, and privileging is completed in accordance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, policies and procedures, DNV, NCQA, and federal and state standards/requirements. Organize and support medical staff meetings and communication activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in credentialing and privileging.
  • CPCS certification at time of hire or within 2 years of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree.
  • Experience working in a hospital medical staff office.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
