About The Position

Purple, Rock, Scissors is seeking a senior Creative Director to lead brand identity, visual systems, and cross-channel creative execution from concept through completion. This is not a purely managerial role. We are looking for a hands-on creative leader who combines strategic thinking with exceptional design craft. You will shape brand ecosystems that span digital, physical, and experiential environments while mentoring designers and collaborating closely with strategy, engineering, and client stakeholders. Work spans identity systems, packaging, environmental and experiential, social campaigns, and digital product brand systems. The Creative Director is a cornerstone of PRPL’s ability to deliver modern brand ecosystems. This role bridges strategy and craft, technology and storytelling, and ensures every brand experience is intentional, scalable, and meaningful. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, understands how brands scale across systems, and is fluent in modern creative tools, including AI-assisted workflows. You will be responsible for setting creative direction, executing high-impact design work, and ensuring PRPL delivers brand experiences that are cohesive, future-ready, and strategically grounded.

Requirements

  • 10+ years professional creative experience
  • Proven leadership in brand identity development
  • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end brand systems
  • Experience designing across digital + physical environments
  • Client-facing presentation experience
  • Track record mentoring creative teams
  • Must demonstrate fluency in: Figma (required) Weavy or collaborative design systems Adobe Creative Suite AI-assisted design workflows Presentation design tools
  • Working knowledge of: Brand guidelines systems Typography systems Packaging production workflows Environmental graphics Social media visual systems

Responsibilities

  • Brand Systems & Identity
  • Develop and direct brand identity systems from strategy to final execution
  • Create scalable visual frameworks across digital, print, environmental, and experiential touchpoints
  • Translate positioning and messaging into compelling visual language
  • Ensure consistency across multi-platform brand ecosystems
  • Hands-On Creative Execution
  • Own design end-to-end, from concept to final production-ready files and handoff
  • Create identity, typography, iconography, packaging, and presentation assets
  • Guide UI visual systems in partnership with product and UX teams
  • Support environmental and experiential brand design

  • Collaborate with strategists to align creative with business objectives
  • Participate in discovery, workshops, and stakeholder presentations
